THE LORDS PRAYER...

When I can't sleep and I'm lay there with the many burdens of my day on my mind.  The burdens weigh heavy on my heart.  They  become so difficult that words do not come, hard to speak in prayer .. This prayer( The Lords Prayer)  Jesus gave us, not just to recite without thought or meaning, but is given because it encompasses all that we need..
Thinking on each word and sentence and the meaning in which they were meant, gives me peace, gives me assurance, calms my soul as each word is uttered  through His Spirit ...
I think of His kingdom, His promises, His Love, that He will not only take care of me here on earth, but that there is a promise that He has  a place in heaven for me..
As I whisper and think about his Holiness and Who He is, my spirit is one with His....
 I begin to thank Him for the many provisions he provides to sustain and strengthen me..
Asking that He forgive me for my many trespasses,
transgressions and sins..
This prayer says I am to forgive those who have hurt me and or find it hard for me to forgive..
He wants me to lean on Him when I face insurmountable  temptations, for it is He who will lead me from temptation and the sins I inevitably think about doing, let alone do..
It is through Him I receive power, glory and forgiveness ..
I am delivered into His kingdom through grace ...

Amen..
Amazingly, after I internalize the Lord's Prayer with each word and purpose, I am able to lift those who are hurting with illnesses, as well as those who are suffering with burdens of life. I leave my  concerns and heartaches at His throne and at His feet..
My burdens that brought me to Him in the middle of the night are given to him ..
It is then I drift back into a peaceful sleep ..

 YOU ARE MORE THAN JUST A FRIEND...

I am on a quest to find a perfect 

quote that says, you are more 

than just a friend.

A perfect quote that tells you

 how my heart feels knowing you ..

How, when I reach within the 

depths of my soul, there is a remnant, 

yes, a friend, who when all have left, 

still you remain ..

In my darkest hours, your kindness

 is felt, your voice is heard..

You, my friend, have touched me 

with your genuine spirit of love, 

concern, and warmth..

You are the rhythm in a song 

that brings joy to my soul ...

You are that friend who brings  

purpose and meaning of friendship ..

You are the comfort felt at

the end of a long day, that brings security 

when I've closed the door to the 

calamity of life ..

You bring strength when my doubts weaken

my sensibility ..

You have indeed enriched my life with your friendship ..

So I don't need to find a perfect quote ..

These words are the embodiment of my 

thoughts of our friendship and the love that is felt 

because of it ..
