YOU MAY WONDER...

 You may wonder who it is you see..
 Why I am who I am , just who is me..

Who you see is a person who loves to explore..
Who finds simple pleasures in all of the outdoors..

Who cries for the poor, who wants an end to all wars..
To seek the answers to why there is hatred, to get to the core..

Who laughs at the silliest things and feels happiness inside..
Knowing there are those who suffer with no freedom in sight..

Who wonders why we can't just all get along?
Why we can't  work together?
Surely it would only make us strong..

Who wonders why there is pettiness, selfishness and greed..
It only penetrates, poisons,  they just blacken our seeds..

I pray for those who are saddened, tormented, those who are lost..
Who know only heartache, who feels fear and sorrow others have caused..

Yes, I am who I am ..
