Why bother with more than the small wonders of life?
Why bother with the burdens
that only brings strife.
Zero in on the baby who has just learned to smile..
Or a friend from your past who
called just to say Hi..
How about the twinkle in your grandfather's eye...
As he thinks of his wife and the years that flew by...
It is the kiss of a raindrop..
It's the air that we breath..
That makes life with its
wonder, almost hard to
believe..
Fresh cut flowers on
the table, so simple
and plain..
Brings gladness to many,
they are far from inane..
Fluffy white clouds dancing
gracefully in the sky ..
I watch as they pass
blissfully by..
So next time a person
or life gets you down..
Just look past
the darkness, there's
beauty to be found..
It's the small wonders of
life, that don't cost a dime..
It lies beyond your doorstep,
if you just take the time..
