A THANKFUL HEART...

A THANKFUL HEART...

Thank You Lord,
for your Love,
Your Spirit,
Thank You God,
for indeed I see,
I truly  feel  it ..

Your forever Grace
with Salvation's
Peace..
When turmoil
swirls and evil is
unleashed..

When I am down,
you never fail me...
From the depths of despair,
your grace it
saves me..

You never let
me drown
in the sea
of self pity..
Instead, You
are a lamp
to my feet,
You bless me..

You have carefully
mended this
shattered heart..
Through healing,
your spirit has
given me a fresh
new start..

Your Word has
salvaged
this battered,
broken life..
Cleansed, I've
severed  guilt,
felt no longer,
nor is it in sight..


Still I stumble, I
fall, and go my
own way..
Forgetting to stop,
to kneel, to remember
to pray..

I  again lift my voice
in praise and song..
You whisper gently ..
"I'm with you always,
I'm never gone"...

So again I say,
with a thankful heart..
I praise You for
this brand new start..
