Traveling ..

Traveling across the Great highways and byways...
The Land we know and love
As America ..
It is this I have to say..

Her hills green with color..
Her mountains, prairies,
Her rich fertile land so stellar..

I am always enchanted by her 
Lasting beauty ..
Mile upon mile.. Her land forever
Suites me..

Farms busy with tilling, watering, the fields for produce...
Feeding the masses across the
World with their surplus..

Towns and cities dotted through
the miles we travel..
Each distinct with characteristic,
depending on whether you are
On the paved road or gravel..

Highway crews busy
 at the task,
of resurfacing the road ..
For we who travel
In summer heat or 
winters cold.. 

Sometimes we are blessed to
see wildlife grazing the hills
and lands before us..
Completely oblivious of road warriors that scream with delight to see God's creatures..
Simply Glorious !!

Sometimes there is woods and forest of green that
gives us visual pleasure..
Other times it is sagebrush and sand, the desert plateau..
For good measure..

Have you ever been on a mountain pass, ocean or seaside 
Road ..
Nothing more breathtaking or scenic to see,
or to behold..

Oh Yes!! We are blessed as we travel along ..
Countless hours of pleasure
My visual senses
 I  catalog..

Next time you travel to a certain destination..
Let your eyes wonder and gaze at God's virtual creation..

Just marvel at the beauty of this land we are blessed to see and live in..
Take time and look around and thank God for what 
You see...
It is what I pray 
and believe in...
 It is in His debt that
