My last and final child came when our lives were turned upside down ..
We moved from our home we thought we would live forever
Unbound..

We had moved to the other side 
Side of the state..
Near destitute, way too much on our plate..

Uprooted, unhappy, poor in finances, pregnant too..
Feeling pretty stressed and naturally "BLUE".. 

Shortly after the move, I had our last bundle joy..
My little girl "Kendra Michelle"
Was perfect after having two little boys..

She brought contentment and happiness when everything  else
Was unnaturally bleak..
She was exactly God's blessing I needed to seek..

Her smile was like sunshine from heaven above..
Her disposition was just what I had been craving and needed
To Love.. 
 
Kendra was a happy baby and a precocious little girl ..
She turned our already crazy
life into to a crazier whirl..

She kept up with her two older 
Brothers and was adored by her three oldest siblings.. 
She was the glue the bonded our family living...
She brought a ray of sunshine,
She was always quite
Giving.. 

As she grew older had her share of turmoil and strife..
Thank God she grew out of the bad side of that life..

She helped her older brother and sisters with their growing families.. 
She's loved so dearly as their 
Aunty and sister.. 

God , I thank you for this sixth child of mine..
A true blessing of Love and happiness I find..

Never have I regretted the day of her coming..
She saved my life and my sanity
I needed her loving,..

Not one day passes that.. I know she's from you.. 
I know and believe how much YOU Love her Too..

A breath of fresh air she  was brought to this earth..
From the moment she was brought forth in birth..

She went back to school, worked hard to become a dental 
Assistant..
Met and married Aaron upon her persistence..

Now they have the love of their lives, their sweet "Aubree  Grace"..
That little girl brings a big smile to Gramma's face..

Kendra makes me laugh, she's a joy to be around..
I pray for her daily as her challenges confound.,

She faces life's challenges with her smile and much grace.,
Like a true child of God ..
She has accepted her place..

She strives hard to please her family and friends..
That's who she is, a loving person 
To the end..

I Love you dear Kendra and I always will..
You came when life was a difficult pill..

Happiness blooms where Your planted I've read and am told..
Accept and be proud and always be bold..

I look in your face and reminded
Once again..
You brought me heaven when life  was less than a friend..

How I praise God and thank Him for the bottom of my heart..
I know now more than ever
His  love from the start..

Your  my gift straight from God
I'll always impart..
So never forget, my sweet daughter, my sixth child,   just how precious you are..
And you always  have been, 
Right from the start !!



Beyond the poem ..
 A message  from Mom:

You were and still are my precious little girl that brought me a pure sense of living and a purpose as well..
Going through that time of life .. Problems abound.. I still knew I was protected and given a gift!! 
I struggled with many adversities .. But you were a light and a reminder that not only you but all my children were my reason to always go on.. Never give Up !! Especially when times are difficult !! 
May you be reminded of this as you walk through life !!
