HER TWO FACES...

She was reminded the other day 

  of how she could be..

She can be lovable,  kind, disarming,

   but not always sweet..

Her faith is strong, her spirit alive,

   as she lifts voice to pray..

She cries for the homeless, the poor,

   the forgotten..

She prays for them each day..

Though her heart is tender, she

   can open her mouth and the words 

will not be tender or discrete.

Her words are at times are harsh,

    ruthless, unkind and far what 

 she believes and certainly not sweet !

Like Eve, she has two faces..

One face caring, forgiving and tender..

 The other loud, careless, 

  unforgiving, abrasive..

She cries in shame after much of 

 the damage she causes is done..

Her anger she thought at the moment was

  justified briefly, as the words lingered,

 were  definitely harmful to some..

Everyday she is reminded she must discard

 the unrighteousness of these two faces..

Let the love,  light and goodness shine..

 Allow the Spirit of God , the forgiven, all 

replaced within , because of Jesus..

 She is reminded of the scripture ...

 " Let the words of my heart and the mediation 

   Of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, oh

    Lord, my strength and my redeemer"..

Psalms 19:14
