MY QUIET PLACE...

I have a place I go to write, to read, to pray..
A quiet corner where I find solace each and every  day..

To reflect, to resonate, to rectify and  to reason..
A quiet place of comfort, to ponder all of Gods creation ..

In this place of stillness, gratitude stirs my soul within..
I whisper.. "Give me  living words to stir my heart as I begin"..

This quiet place restores my restless spirit..
Where I seek forgiveness and love so I can give it..

I feel pain when others hurt and languish ..
When suffering loss of any kind of anguish ..

Knowing He can rescue me from bitterness and strife..
Rescues me from hateful thoughts brought on by life..

So it is in this time, in my quiet place where  I surrender..
Yes, all of me I surrender, I  hear His voice so tender..

His words resonant to follow Him in love, forgiveness and kindness..
Bringing others to understand redemption, releasing their blindness..

My quiet place brings joy and always supplication ..
That He is with me day and night as I face each consternation ..

“Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
