When I was young and

 didn't have a care ..

When life was a breeze,

 It was  like walking on air..
..

Not a worry or a fret to

 weigh me down..

Just sunshine and

rainbows,

 nary a frown..
..

Hand in hand we

danced, we played..

My friends and I ..

I still cherish those days...
..

Years have passed, I still    

 remember when..

Guess I hoped  it would

  never end..

..

Memories they haunt me,

 but in a happy way..

I close my eyes to recall

 those days ..
..

I'm up so high  in the

clouded sky..

Dancing on rainbows,

In the sweet by and by ..
