ON THIS DAY, MY BIRTHDAY...
Waking, it was a day like many others..
Sunlight streaming through the windows and shudders..
Cloudless blue sky
seemed crisp yet ominous ..
The morning air brisk,
bringing me alert and fully conscious ..
As I opened the door to get a better look..
Something magical
moved my spirit ..
My spirit, it shook !!
I heard the first chirp of a Robins new song..
I saw a rising of a crocus
bursting up strong..
The day is new with life
and the living..
Spring is near ..
I see and feel its beginning..
How precious the signs of fresh new beginnings..
My happy heart rejoices, it's joyfully singing...
