Darkness and a silence has overtaken our land ..
Subdued and shaken by the twisted mind of a man..
Taken are the lives of so many very young and innocent souls..
Anguished tears are shed as prayers lifted to the Father to console..
Angels beside them as they mourn their terrible loss..
Prayers of millions knelt in prayer from this tragic cause ..
A blanket of sorrow covers this great nation of ours..
Hearts torn in two over the loss of these delicate flowers..
They were just buds on this tree we call life..
Not yet ready to bloom, ruined by this blight..
Shaken to the core, we are desperate and tormented to understand..
To understand this evil that persistently happens again and again..
Take this opportunity to hold your child close when you kiss and hug them goodnight..
Give them the assurance that you are always just a thought away and never out of sight !
Never out of sight in your mind, and that they are always in your cherished loving heart..
For they hold the key to each beating chamber, always and forever, right from the start!
