So far away are the memories and thoughts of yesteryear..

Though they are scattered, they return, indelibly seared  !!......

So far away now are the near forgotten times..

Times  of sadness and what felt like an uphill climb.......

So far away now are the insurmountable struggles..

Life itself was strewn about like a unfinished puzzle.......

So far way now are the expectations of what God had in store..

The story is clear, the past is spent, open wide is the door........

Reflections, daydreams and wonders seem so far away,

The sands have shifted, it is a bright clear sky on a sunny day.......

Yes, my desires, dreams, and wonders are over as my days draw nigh..

My heart is grateful as I lift my voice in prayer with a fulfilling sigh.......

Dear Lord,  You have never once left me alone, never left my side ..

There were  some days I couldn't see or feel your love , I cried.......

It is certain and beyond those shadows I realize now, you were always near..

Yes, so close, I was never alone .. I  just had to acknowledge my mortal fear.......
