Thinking of Mom this Christmas season..
Her twinkling eyes, her smile that glistened..
She worked her fingers to the bone..
Worked real hard, much of our clothes she sowed..
She was in the kitchen from dawn to dusk..
Making goodies for the Christmas rush ..
Nothing seemed to get her down..
Courage, strength is what she found..
My gratitude and love I'm sending you Mom
I know now where my strength is from..
You hands were worn from hard work and toil..
Sewing, baking, working Gods soil..
My heart aches, I did not give you enough..
To tell you how much I loved you, appreciated
What I thought was stuff...
How precious the gifts you made by hand...
All the hours it took, all the hours to plan..
All the hours it took, all the hours to plan..
So this Christmas Season I just want to say..
Mother, I hope you hear me as I pray..
Forgive me Lord for not appreciating my mother as I should..
Give her my love and tell her I'm sorry if you could..
I Love You Mother...
Merry Christmas ..
