TOO OLD FOR COLD...

I have to chuckle to myself when I think
back on this year..  It is year I thought would
never come, but did..
I used to say when working at my last job as an LPN
for an Internist, that I was getting too old to
shuffle through the daily grind and all the expected
as well as unexpected useless ongoing saga of this and that.
Yes, it is and was the year of my retirement..
Such a time that I dreamed about but never really
thought would actually happen.
Now here it is the very last day of the year 2013
and New Years is but a breath away..
Tonight my sweet hubby I affectionately call LAR-BEAR
and I were going to rock in the New Year in our 5th Wheel
in the driveway ..
Being old and  yes, we are OLD...  We forgot to check the
propane tanks that heat the damn thing in this below freezing weather ..
Well guess what?  The tanks are empty and there will be
no sleeping or "Christening" of  the 5th wheel, if you get my drift ..
Like I told my kids.." I'M TOO OLD  FOR COLD"..
But I'm still retired...YES!!
