EARLY MORNING LIGHT ...

Up, wide awake to see the still quiet morning light ..
Half the world  is still asleep  as the world
twirls and turns
in silence..
Stepping outside, I hear
Birds singing their cheerful morning song..
Creation is yawning to their melodious sound...
The early sunbeams creep effortless across the wet kiss of morning dew..
The air is crisp, clean
as the earth breaths in
the new days dawn..
Nocturnal creatures now  are slumbering beneath and beyond the light of day ...
In slow motion, living beings pace themselves
for another day ahead ..
Once again I'm reminded
of the omnipotence of our
Creator ..
For His presence and power are yet again
reminding me I am created in His image and His peace envelopes my heart and soul as I begin yet another day..
I praise Him for His beautiful beginning of another glorious day and ask that He walk with me so that I might not stumble ..
