WHEN TIME WAS FOREVER...

Have you ever jumped into a little
red convertible .. put the top down,
to drive back in time to a place you
called HOME ?
Yesterday, my sister and I drove the old
country roads where once we were young..
So many years ago WHEN TIME WAS FOREVER ..
Where laughter, happiness and the thought
of getting older was never a possibility, let
alone a reality..
Time stood still back then..
It was  locked securely in
self obscurity with sights and sounds
 we thought would never end..
 The hills, the views, the landscape
was seen through our much younger
eyes of yesterday..
We only saw the past, our younger lives, our memories..
They were all still there,  just waiting for our
return to once again to relive the passion
that left us still breathless and spellbound ..
Of course there were changes, but they were
hardly noticed..
Our thoughts and visions were unleashed only
on our yesterday's ..
I made a promise to myself, as I often have done
before as I rode along those old country roads...
 I shall go back again ..
 I want to  unlock, yet again, the beauty
that was once a precious time and place..
Back to the unforgotten memories of
WHEN TIME WAS FOREVER...
