Both Roxy and I,
we sit here to
give you comfort..
So that you are
not alone..
We watch, we
weep as you
peacefully slumber..
I am sitting
here at my
white angel
boxers bed..
Just sitting
here petting
and caressing
his precious head..
So frail, he lays
and quietly rests
and sleeps ..
Moments away
from heaven,
where Jesus
will take him
to keep ..
He desperately
tries to raise his
head ..
Too weak he lays
motionless in
his bed..
I am here beside
you, my sweet
Dempsey dog..
I won't leave your
side, I am here
regardless how
long..
Your gentle sweet
nature has been
your biggest asset ..
You always kissed
and licked the air,
so sweet, you are
and have been
the classiest ..
In your loving
nature, your
would wiggle all over,
when you are
greeting....
No one has ever
been a stranger,
in any setting
or meeting..
Oh Dempsey ..
I will miss you ,
my heart is
breaking!
My white "angel"
boxer..
It hurts to see
you suffer,
my heart,
it's aching !!
Go now with Jesus ...
Let the angels
take you to him..
Where you will
be whole, complete ,
not a worry or
a problem..
I will one day
meet you again
at heavens
celestial gate ..

Jesus ..
I don't know
how long we
will both have
to wait !!
