ENLIGHTENED...

I read
something today ,
that  made me
stop and think..
It was
profoundly literal,
In fact, it
was quite
distinct..

It captured
what I know,
God's way
for us to live..
It  gave this
truth I desperate
want to share,
to give..

"Life will bring us disappointments, failures and bitterness..
Not to waste time dwelling on the hate, the crippling darkness,
Such things that embattle us..
No, instead turn life around by smiling, by forgiving, by  living ..
this is the way life should ultimately be..
Take more pictures , laugh a little longer, Touch another with love..
Bring this all to those you  see"..

Unfortunately,
we all have
had our share
of sorrow, loss,
 and pain..
When we
shout, curse,
denigrate..
what does
that gain?..

There are
certain  people
who bring  joy,
whenever they
are around ..
They lift our
spirits, bring
us joy, make
us happy,
it is so profound..

Don't waste
another moment,
time is fleeting..
For every
moment of
sadness or unforgiveness ..
Is a moment
in time you
have lost
completely ..

 I ask for
my transgressions
to be cast into
the abyss..
Burdens will
not be lifted
without the
promise of this..
