I WISH I  HAD A DOUBLE ...

I wish I had a
double to take
on the work
at hand ...
One to do
the dishes ,
the other to
scrub the
pots and pans...

One to clean
the closets,
the other to
throw away
the mess ...
One to clean
the toilets,
the other
make the
bathroom
look  it's
very best ..

One to cook
and bake
 just like a
gourmet cook..
The other can
scan the
cookbooks,
(Like that was
all it took..)

One take out
the garbage ,
 while the
other fills up
the  cans.
With all the
people who
live here,
They sure
fill up quick..
I am sure you
understand...

One can vacc
and dust,
the mess that
collects all week..
The other can
walk the dogs
to the corner
and down
the street ..

I can only
dream and
wonder,
as I clean the
kitchen floor..
If I only had
a double ..
I could clean
so darn much
more !!
