Sitting in my swing , feeling the tender
caress of the hot summers breeze...
Another day has nestled comfortably
into this perfectly warm mid-July eve..
Watching the white puffs of clouds glide
magically, sensuously across the tinted sky...
Listening to the wind through the trees and the
wind chimes clink and tinkle, while a quail cries..
The dogs pant furiously after chasing dragon
flies that dart and fly, as if playing tag..
Feverishly they run and jump stealthily,
artfully high, to attempt, just once, to catch, to snag..
I look upon my radiant flowering bush in full bloom,
as the dark carpet of green grass lifts me away...
Away from the hum drum of a soon forgotten day..
I visually see my simple beautiful
corner of the world around me..
One by one my worries and burdens are lifted
as I release them into the evening breeze!!
Gone is the torment of gloom,
the sadness, the burdens ..
God graciously takes them,
for this I am certain..
