IN THE LIGHT...

Far in the darkness
I see a light..
The thick enveloping
blackness is all around..
I feel alone ..
I fix my eyes on
the distant light,
I pray..
Fear leaves me,
I'm not alone..
Soon the light
is all around,
it goes right
through me ..
His righteousness,
His power, His Love,
His salvation is mine
to have, it is
freely given..
Through faith I am saved
by a whisper of that
simple sinners prayer..
Renewed, life begins..
