JESUS DIED TODAY ....

Jesus died today..
Darkness shrouded
The cross where he hung..
The earth shook mightily
as the temple curtain tore..
No longer are we separated
from God..
Jesus died today..
He bore my sins and yours..
The lamb of God was sacrificed,
He bled and died today..
God gave His only begotten
Son.. So that you and I
Could live eternally ..
Jesus died today ..
Kneel down, ask Him..
Will you take my sins away?
Will you forgive this wretched
Soul?
Jesus died today..
He will rise again to defeat
The sting of death.. Yes,
Jesus died today...
