I looked at your picture again today..
It sits on my nightstand close where I lay.

Kindness radites through your eyes so blue..
They twinkle with kindness and love, as they always do..
Gazing upon your face I see the years you've endured ..
Hardships, difficulties, consequent relentless pain to be sure..
I see the strong, silent, courageous person that I so proudly called Mom..
The picture reflects the woman I still wish I could become..
A vibrant, kind, industrious, wonderful woman is the mother I remember..
Always had a ready sweet smile to all she'd meet, everyone adored her ...
In my eyes Mom, even though I never said it often, or at least I want to believe ..
I so very much admired you for teaching me" it is better to give than receive"..
Thank you for telling me one day as I cried.. " this too shall pass"..
When life became difficult and I thought it would always last ..
Even though you may not have said the words to teach the hard lessons..
You were steadfast and true on your journey, they were your best ones...
You taught me to look past color of skin and cultures far different than ours..
You said "they were like us inside, just like admiring different kinds of flowers"..
Years have passed since you've been gone and I no longer see you here..
I miss you more than ever, I know where you are, I have no remorse or fear..
Today, tomorrow and on this Mothers Day that is soon to come..
I want to send this message by an Angel and she will tell you who it's from..
Again I say.."I LOVE AND MISS YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER"...
Can't wait to see you again Mom, to rejoice with Jesus for eternity FOREVER!!
