HEAR MY PRAYERS, OH LORD..

HEAR MY PRAYER, OH LORD...

My heart is heavy

  my eyes fill with tears..

Desperate, anguished

  my prayers lessen my fears..

You are my shelter,

 my  refuse from torment ..

My salvation , my strength 

  right now, this moment..

Others across this land,

   are faced with sadness..

Facing devastation, loss,

  far away from gladness.

The dark cloud lifts,

  the search begins..

Their task is daunting,

  their task is grim..

Yet with the break 

  of yet another day..

Brings hope to hundreds,

 as rescuers search for

survivors today..

God, hear our prayers

  for those who suffer...

Those who lost their loved ones,

  hold them close forever..

Thank you again for the

   Angels among us..

They  are your hands, your

  heart, your incomparable conscious ..

Without them our world

 will never see the light..

Darkness would reign 

  with  bitterness and strife..
