I GIVE UP !!!

I GIVE UP !!! Stamping her foot as she grits her teeth with rage..
Shouting to the top of her voice, as if letting herself out of a cage..

 " I GIVE UP".. Lifting her fists to the sky..
Her tears are bitter, angry So hurt inside,
 she doesn't want to cry...

 She had reached out in love to only be rejected, ignored ..
 She thought she was tough.. She felt so forlorn ..

 We are all just human seeking acceptance..
 In this otherwise harsh world of rejection ..

 She had reached out to some one she holds dear..
A person she had no Reason to fear..

 There was no reaching back from this one she respects ..
No, instead she was ignored, a true Slap in the face, rejected...

 She was reminded as she called out in prayer..
 " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"..( Luke 6:31)
 She realized she had done what Christ had declared!!

 No longer angry, she praised the Lord in silence ..
 He gently spoke to her spirit until she became still,
 Her spirit fell quiet ...
 Let us never forget to act, to give in the spirit of love.. Never expecting anything in return.
 Only His acceptance from above ...
