Saw a Robin Today
I saw a Robin today..
Chest of auburn; pumped up, looking intently for her prey..
Her head turned to the side
keenly looking to the ground for that worm..
She was so cunning, so busy as she bounced and bobbed and turned..
Always looking for an encounter of another Robin too..
To steal and forage her site she has chosen carefully
to ensue..
Quickly her beak hits the moist green mowed grass.
As sudden as that .. Amazing, it was so Fast..
Home.. She the Robin, to the nest she returns..
To her opened mouth babies to feed she regured..
Each one a morsel from her gullet she instinctively feeds..
Her babies so high on a branch in the neighbors maple tree..
Not long thereafter I heard The Robin's evening song..
Her melodious music for this day almost gone ..
I am so thrilled of this sight and this sound of this one Robin's
Story..
I saw a Robin Today and all Her
Magical Glory..
