ITTY BITTY BUTTERFLY

As I was walking down the hill today..
I saw an "ITTY BITTY BUTTERFLY" it seemed it wanted
To play..

So tiny, even with wings spread
In flight..
I thought. Must be a new grasshopper,
My first to sight..

As the butterfly landed on a nearby bush..
I stopped to take a better
Look..

It fluttered it's ting wings
A bit..
Then it was still, it's wings expanded as if to purposefully sit..

"Look how pretty and colorful I am".. As if to say..
With it's orange, black and yellow wings spread and on
display..

I truly marveled at this tiny seductive little 
Thing..
So colorful in it's beauty, I so enjoyed this late day in
spring..

It flew around me as I
continued down the hill..
It was then I noticed several
more had joined flying, yet
some were uncommonly
still..

Such gorgeous little creatures I thought to myself..
Thanking our Creator, the Master, our God,
Himself..

Many simple pleasures for me I would have missed and
enjoyed
If that ITTY BITTY BUTTERFLY it antics, had not
employed..

It fluttered it's way into my heart..
It wanted me to notice right from the
Start..

I would have missed it's beauty
Too..
If "it" hadn't persisted as it fluttered
and flew..

I finally took time to gaze at it's
Masterful Glory..
This "ITTY BITTY BUTTERFLY"
it's colorful winged beautiful
Story..

A group of butterflies followed me now  down the hill..
They paraded around me with such intent and skill..

They soon  departed, to seek another, just like me..
Blissfully ignorant and unaware of what  they are about
To see ..
This "ITTY BITTY BUTTERFLY"
so tiny, so gorgeous, so full of
Glee..
