SIMPLE PLEASURES..

It is the simple pleasures in life that hold me spellbound ..
Like the clean fresh breeze after a summer's thunderous rain cloud...

A sound of the Meadowlark's
Sweet song..
Oh how I wish I could hear it all the
the day long...

The touch and the gaze of my Loves tenderness..
As we simply sit and watch the sunset's sweet caress..

The sight from top of the mountain's expansive view..
The sound of the surf as it pounds the shore after a storm
the night through..

So many sights, sounds and feelings, touches this heart of mine..
I am once again reminded of my Creator, his majesty at work, so sublime ..

Takes just a moment to realize that God  had a plan..
To create a world so immense, full of beauty, for our pleasure, if you can..

Instead we take for granted God's creation and live the daily grind..
Slow down, look at the world around you, the beauty so
magnificent and fine..

Stop for a brief moment, listen closely, hear the birds as they
Sing..
There is nothing quite like it, a gift so precious .. Takes my breath every spring..

Thank You God.. For you majesty and beauty..
Your sweeping hand across the earth  when you created it, is so gorgeous..
