Our Imperfections

I saw a video of a woman who had just lost her spouse ..
She spoke of his imperfections, he was not perfect, but not exactly a louse..

She spoke of his snoring, so loud while he lay sleeping beside her..
So loud and disturbing .. Shook the rafters .. It was such a curse..

As he lay dying, his breathing was labored..
She realized one thing as she now wished and savored..

No longer will I hear him beside me..
No sight or vision of him will there be..

She weeps now as she recalls those times of distress..
"I'll take his imperfections".. And wished she could see his face..

So remember, my children, when you speak evil of one another..
We live by grace and you must honor each other..

Take your bitter, unkind words to the Father..
Let him deal with you and your feelings.. He wants to be
bothered..

There is a day we all face when your spouse may be gone..
You will be like this woman who mourns her husband.. His imperfections are
done..

Learn to praise and thank God for each other..
The more you do this, you will be blessed by our heavenly Father..

We sometimes have to be dealt with harsh simple truth..
To open our eyes and realize we have become so uncouth..

So speak sweetly when you speak of each other..
God will bless and keep you .. I pray this prayer.. His Love, and for His
Sovereign cover..
