GLIMPES OF HEAVEN..

A GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN..

Sometimes in our imaginations..
we wonder, dream and pray..
To see a glimpse of heaven
where eternity we will stay..

After this journey of life on earth has ended..
It is only the beginning for the believers in Christ,
We will be ascended..

To a place we know, God has promised, called Heaven..
A glorious place our imagination
can hardly grasp in comprehension..

Once in awhile we see something on earth that takes our breath away..
A magnificent view, a glorious sunrise, a beautiful rainbow
on the horizon on
Display ..

Sometimes I ask God, as I take in this earthly sight..
" Is this what Heaven might be like"?

Even as magnificent the view
might be and how esthetically
pleasing it is to see..
God whispers ever so quietly as I seek his answer to me..

" No dear one, the beauty  before you is quite unspeakably wonderful through your vision, that is certain "
"No, your home in Heaven is unimaginably a creation you can not believe, when death opens the final curtain"..

" Although I have created certain spectacular scenic
wonders for you to view here on this earth"..
"I cannot wait for You to see what waits for you in heaven
Since you received your second birth"..

So even as I sit and see the beauty of His creation that is right in front of me..
 God's promised a place that will take my breath, a more beautiful site it will be..

As I realize my days are closer now than what they used to be when I was much younger..
Anticipation sweeps through my soul as I seek and as I  ponder ..

A "Glimpse of Heaven" I see in a bright pink organza sunset cloud..
Late on a summers eve warm arid shroud..

I wonder once again with my human finite mind ..
As I gaze toward heaven
at the beautiful sunset sky....
Is this a "Glimpse of Heaven"
before me ?
