Why bother with the monstrosities and life lacking enormities of strife..

Zero in on the beautiful child that has just learned to smile..

Or your brother who just ran an extra mile..

How about the twinkle in your grandfather's eye for his

 loving wife...

For all the years they spent together..

You can't cut that happiness 

with a knife..

No my friend, it is the small tangible touch of a raindrop..   

The air we breath after a sweet summer rain..

Fresh cut flowers on the dinner table from Mom's garden..

So simple and plain..

White fluffy clouds dancing effortlessly  in the sky above..

While you walk  blissfully down a country road..

Free from disorder and a lackluster world without love..

It takes me away, far away from the world troubles so cold..

So next time a person or the pressures of life get you down..

Remember to look at the beautiful

side of life that is just beyond your door and easily  found..

You can leave it all behind in moments thought or a single bound ..

Get away from the life that seems to get  you down..
